5B Teachers

Mrs. F - Homeroom Teacher

I am absolutely thrilled to be the homeroom teacher for 5B this fall! Over the past three years, I’ve had the joy of substitute teaching at Strathcona Christian Elementary, and I’m so excited to step into a part-time teaching role with my very own class. I truly believe God has a unique and beautiful plan for your child this year. My goal is to create a classroom where each student feels safe, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. It’s going to be an amazing year!

I've been married to my wonderful husband for 16 years, and together we have three amazing children—all currently in elementary school. On the rare occasion that I have some down time (because let’s be honest, when does that happen with kids?), you'll likely find me curled up with a good book and a cup of tea—preferably in the mountains!

Our school theme for 2025/26 has been on my heart even before I knew it had been chosen for the year.
“But those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31)

This verse has been a powerful reminder to me of God’s faithfulness in every season. As we begin this school year, I’m encouraged by the promise that when we place our trust in Him, He gives us the strength we need—not just to get through each day, but to rise, grow, and flourish. I pray this truth speaks to your heart as it has to mine, and that together we’ll experience the hope and renewal that comes from waiting on the Lord.
